Job summary

Place Logic in Canberra is seeking an Urban Designer to join our growing studio across Canberra and NSW. You will contribute across ideas and delivery, developing design concepts and carrying them through to resolution, preparing clear drawings and visual material, and coordinating project components with clients and consultants.

We value clarity, curiosity and place-based outcomes. The role supports a 4-day work week and flexible working arrangements within a collaborative studio.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Urban Design or a related discipline.
• 4+ years’ experience in urban design or similar.
• Strong design and graphic communication skills (hand and digital).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Vectorworks.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Affinity.
• General competency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Developing design concepts and carrying them through to resolution.
• Preparing clear drawings, diagrams and visual material.
• Supporting the coordination of project components.
• Contributing to client engagement and project conversations.
