Job summary

Dezignteam in Canberra is seeking a Project Architect to lead design development and oversee complex mixed-use and multi-residential projects. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and construction teams to ensure quality outcomes and compliant documentation.

You will mentor junior staff, manage timelines and resources, and contribute to the growth of Dezignteam through innovative design and rigorous project management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Architect/Project Leader delivering Mixed Use and Multi Residential Projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in architectural design, project management and construction administration.
• Strong technical skills in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find innovative solutions.
• Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of architectural plans and specifications for a variety of projects, ensuring adherence to client requirements, building codes, and industry standards
• Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and construction teams to coordinate the design and construction process
• Manage project timelines and resources to ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Provide expert advice and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional development
• Stay up-to-date with the latest architectural trends, technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into your work
• Contribute to the overall growth and strategic direction of the company
