Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking an emerging or mid-level urban design professional to contribute to embedding urban design requirements across Transport programs and projects. Based in Sydney CBD, you will support design excellence processes, contribute to standards, toolkits and training materials, and help deliver place-based, liveable and multi-modal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Emerging or mid-level urban design professional with experience applying urban design principles in transport, public domain or infrastructure projects.
• Solid understanding of contextual and place-based design and ability to contribute to design reviews, standards and toolkits in practical project settings.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to embedding urban design requirements across Transport programs and projects within the Design Excellence team.
• Support coordination of external design advisors and participation in design reviews and workshops.
• Prepare reports and presentations; help develop standards, guidelines, toolkits and training materials; ensure place-based outcomes are delivered.
