Job summary

Airswift is supporting a major upstream oil & gas project in Brisbane with an Environmental and Regulatory Advisor role. • Experience managing statutory environmental approvals and submission milestones on major projects.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory processes.
• Ability to engage regulators and government authorities effectively.
• Capable of coordinating consultants and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental approvals, permit conditions, and submission milestones.
• Coordinate environmental management plans and supporting documentation.
• Maintain compliance registers and monitor obligations throughout project delivery.
• Build relationships with environmental regulators and government authorities.
• Support regulatory meetings, audits, inspections, and site visits.
• Integrate environmental requirements into project activities with engineering teams.
• Identify risks and compliance gaps, providing practical recommendations.
• Coordinate consultants and internal stakeholders to support environmental deliverables.
• Advise project leadership on approvals, compliance requirements, and risks.
