University of Sydney is hiring a part-time Project Coordinator to support a national eating disorder initiative. The role focuses on upskilling clinicians, embedding screening, and coordinating engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Australia.
You will join an established team delivering health system transformation, with responsibilities spanning planning, governance, and stakeholder engagement within frontline mental health services.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, highly-organised and experienced project coordinator to contribute to an innovative national eating disorder initiative that upskills clinicians and embeds screening and identification within the workforce in headspace, Medicare Mental Health and Primary Health Networks nationally. The position will develop strong working relationships with key organisations in the mental health sector, and contribute to the delivery of a highly successful national youth mental health system change initiative.
The successful candidate will become part of an established project team that is embedding eating disorder training, identification, and early intervention within frontline mental health services across Australia - the first project of its kind. In addition to general project coordination activities, the position will support engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders and help to ensure all project activities are inclusive, respectful and responsive to the needs and strengths of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
The InsideOut Institute is Australia's national institute for research, clinical excellence, and policy innovation in eating disorders, and contributes to initiatives that strengthen the capability of mental health services to identify and respond to eating disorders across the country.
