Job summary

Resero Group in Sydney, NSW, seeks an upholsterer to join the Minto site on a fixed-term contract. The role involves upholstering furniture using fabric, leather and other materials following patterns and standard processes.

Ideal candidates have upholstery experience or transferable skills, with strong attention to detail and practical hands-on ability. Day shift 7am–3.30pm, Monday to Friday, with transport links nearby.

Qualifications

• Experience in upholstery or a manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Capable learner with strong practical skills and good hand dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Upholster chairs, sofas and seating using fabric, leather or other materials.
• Follow patterns, instructions and standard processes to produce upholstered furniture.
• Assemble furniture frames and carcasses; cut, fit and attach foam and cushioning materials.
• Attach upholstery materials using staples and other methods with hand tools and jigs.
• Ensure workmanship meets high quality standards and maintain a clean, safe work area.
