Evolution Mining is seeking an experienced Watercart/Grader Operator for the Northparkes Underground Development team. Reporting to the Mining Coordinator, you will help maintain safe access and operate watercarts and graders to support road maintenance, dust suppression, drainage management and development activities.

Based at Northparkes, the role focuses on safe operation, roadway upkeep and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating graders and watercarts (Mining pref.).
• Commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Understanding of road maintenance and drainage management; current licences.
• Ability to conduct equipment inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground watercart and grader equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain underground roadways to required standards.
• Complete dust suppression and road watering activities.
• Manage drainage and roadway conditions across active development areas.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and basic equipment housekeeping.
• Identify and report hazards, defects and operational issues.
