Job summary

Rashi Joshi is seeking Experienced Underground Service Crew Operators for a hard rock mine site in North West Queensland. The role involves installing and maintaining underground mine services, including ventilation, and supporting development crews on a rotating 8/6, 7/7 day and night roster.

This physically demanding position requires prior underground service crew experience, a current manual driver’s licence, and the ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Underground Service Crew position within a hard rock mining environment.
• Experience installing and maintaining underground services and ventilation.
• Ability to perform physically demanding manual tasks for extended periods.
• Strong safety focus and adherence to site procedures.
• Current manual driver’s licence.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of mine services throughout the operation.
• Ventilation installation and maintenance.
• General underground labouring duties.
• Offsiding underground machinery and equipment.
• Assisting development crews with day-to-day underground activities.
• Ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently in a challenging underground environment.
