Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking an Underground Service Crew Operator at Mungari to ensure safe, efficient underground mine services and ventilation operations. The role involves installing and maintaining infrastructure, operating equipment, and collaborating with multiple teams for production success.

The position offers FIFO from Perth on a 7/7 roster or residential options in Kalgoorlie with competitive local allowances and a pathway to specialist and leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months Underground Service Crew experience backed up with current RPLs.
• At least 2 years underground mining experience.
• Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence.
• Working at Heights certification.
• Ability to complete a current National Police Clearance.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain underground mine services and ventilation infrastructure.
• Install and remove secondary ventilation fans.
• Construct ventilation walls and assist with underground infrastructure projects.
• Install, grout, plate and tension cable bolts.
• Assist with development and production activities across the mine.
• Operate underground mobile equipment, including nipper and truck duties when required.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and maintain equipment to a high standard.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and safety standards underground.
• Work collaboratively with mining, maintenance, technical services and geology teams.

As an Underground Service Crew Operator at Mungari, you'll play a critical role in keeping our underground operation running safely and efficiently. Working within a high-performing mining team, you'll be responsible for underground mine services, ventilation installation, ground support activities and a variety of tasks that directly contribute to production success.
