Westgold Resources is seeking an experienced Underground Maintenance Mechanic for our Bluebird Underground Gold Mine near Meekatharra, WA. You will diagnose faults, inspect machinery, and perform repairs on fixed-plant assets to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ mechanical maintenance experience in an underground mining environment.
• Experience maintaining surface and underground pumping systems and fixed infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on underground machinery.
• Carry out routine inspections of fixed-plant equipment and ventilation systems.
• Drive maintenance planning activities and coordinate with site teams.
• Maintain a proactive safe working environment.
