Job summary

Redpath Mining is seeking a Paste Crew Operator for underground paste fill operations at Lake Cowal. You will backfill stopes safely and support production, working with the Underground Production Team to operate and monitor paste fill systems.

Key duties include installing and maintaining paste fill infrastructure, preserving safety, and keeping detailed records. Applicants should have underground mining experience and relevant tickets, with a strong focus on teamwork and proactive problem

Qualifications

• Underground mining experience, preferably in paste fill, service crew, charge-up, or production roles.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and systems.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively within a high-performing team environment.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Relevant underground mining competencies and tickets highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor underground paste fill distribution systems.
• Install, maintain, and relocate paste fill infrastructure and pipelines.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshooting of paste reticulation systems.
• Monitor fill delivery, pressures, and system performance.
• Complete routine maintenance and housekeeping activities.
• Assist with underground services installation and maintenance as required.
• Maintain accurate shift reports and operational records.
• Identify hazards and actively contribute to a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with site procedures, standards, and statutory requirements.
