Qualifications

• 12+ months experience in an underground coal environment.
• Current Standard 11 (surface and underground) or willingness to obtain.
• Commitment to safety and safe working environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to a positive safety-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and efficiently across all assigned functions to support production targets and operational requirements.
• Prepare, plan and execute daily work in line with approved weekly schedules.
• Complete daily shift reports and record inspections, defects, repairs and hours worked.
• Safely operate a range of machinery and equipment per site procedures.
• Undertake labour-intensive tasks in an underground environment as required.
• Collaborate with a skilled team to achieve production and project outcomes.
• Lead by example in safety and contribute to site-wide safety standards.
