Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Underground Bogger and Grader Operator for a FIFO role in Cobar. You will safely operate bogger and grader equipment on road works within a safety-focused underground team.

The ideal candidate has underground mining experience as a Bogger and Grader operator, holds bogger and grader tickets, and demonstrates a proactive approach to safety and teamwork in a production mining environment.

Qualifications

• Previous underground mining experience as a Bogger and Grader operator is essential.
• Must possess bogger and grader tickets.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating Underground Bogger and Grader for road works.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and promptly identify and report defects or maintenance requirements.
• Work collaboratively with all underground personnel and maintain equipment.
• Contribute to safety, productivity and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Dust management and adherence to site safety requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Safely and efficiently operating Underground Bogger and Grader equipment doing road works
• Effective and efficient equipment care to ensure minimum damage and maximum utilisation and availability of equipment.
• Completing thorough pre-start inspections and promptly identifying and reporting equipment defects or maintenance requirements
• Working collaboratively with all underground personnel
• Dust management
• Ability to communicate effectively using underground radio communications
• Following all site safety requirements, operational procedures and established mining practices
• Supporting a strong team culture through effective communication, cooperation and a professional approach
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, productivity and operational performance
• Fantastic hourly rate
