Job summary

NES Fircroft is recruiting for an Underground Bogger and Grader Operator in Cobar. The role operates on a FIFO roster (7/7 or 14/14) within a safety-focused underground mining team.

You will operate bogger and grader equipment for road works, perform pre-start inspections, and report defects promptly. The position emphasizes equipment care, safety, and continuous improvement in productivity and performance.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Safely and efficiently operating Underground Bogger and Grader equipment doing road works
• Effective and efficient equipment care to ensure minimum damage and maximum utilisation and availability of equipment.
• Completing thorough pre-start inspections and promptly identifying and reporting equipment defects or maintenance requirements
• Working collaboratively with all underground personnel
• Dust management
• Ability to communicate effectively using underground radio communications
• Following all site safety requirements, operational procedures and established mining practices
• Supporting a strong team culture through effective communication, cooperation and a professional approach
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, productivity and operational performance
• Fantastic hourly rate
