Job summary

Aston Advantage is seeking a trades-qualified HD Fitter with Cert III Mobile Plant to maintain and repair underground equipment in a Cobar, NSW context. The role requires fault-finding across hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems and hands-on experience with equipment from CAT, Sandvik, Epiroc, Volvo, and Normet.

The position offers a 7/7 or 14/14 roster, FIFO/DIDO arrangements, and accommodation provided, with a strong safety culture and polymetal mine exposure.

Qualifications

• Must be trade qualified with HD Fitter and Cert III Mobile Plant.
• Underground mining experience of 2+ years.
• Exposure to major OEMs and equipment brands.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair underground mobile mining equipment (loaders, trucks, graders, shotcrete).
• Strong fault-finding across hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
