Job summary

Macmahon is seeking an HD Fitter to maintain underground mining equipment across various projects in Australia. You’ll join a safety-focused, team-oriented crew and perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.

Roster options include 7/7 (days and nights) or 14/14 (days and nights). You’ll work with a range of heavy earthmoving gear, follow OEM standards and site procedures, and contribute to a positive crew culture.

Qualifications

• HD Fitter with underground mining experience.
• Knowledge of heavy earthmoving equipment and underground plant.
• Australian recognised Heavy Mechanical Trade Qualification.
• Air Conditioning license desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a large fleet of Underground Mining Equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform mechanical repairs.
• Complete servicing to OEM standards and site procedures.
• Be proactive with mining cycle requirements to minimise downtime.
• Provide clear and effective communication.
• Contribute to a people-first culture and Winning Values.
• Support teammates and foster a strong crew culture.
