Advanced Mining Production Systems (AMPS) are recruiting Underground Mining Engineers across Western Australia, New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia. Roles are permanent with an 8:6 roster and opportunities to work across various sites and commodities, with on-site and remote collaboration and a pathway to global projects.

The role focuses on mine planning, scheduling, production, and mentoring, with the opportunity to develop skills in mine design software and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering required.
• Demonstrated understanding of mine planning, scheduling and production in underground environments.
• Willingness to learn new technical skills and improve knowledge.
• Experience with mine design software is essential.
• Strong commitment to quality and safety in the workplace.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with on-site engineering requirements across mining operations.
• Mine planning and scheduling for daily to LOM/tactical needs.

We are currently recruiting Underground Mining Engineers across Western Australia, New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia. We are offering opportunities on a permanent basis with flexibility, with most opportunities based around an 8:6 roster.

The role:

You will assist clients with on-site engineering requirements, for example:

• Mine planning and scheduling (daily to LOM/tactical)
• Mining infrastructure and project management
• Mentoring, training and upskilling technical staff
• Drill and blast design, production engineering
• Safety & risk management

About you:

• Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering
• Demonstrated understanding of mine planning, scheduling and production in an UG environment
• Passionate about learning new technical skills and an keen interest in improving your knowledge
• Demonstrated experience with mine design software
• A strong commitment to quality and safety in the workplace
• Great communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills
