Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking an Underground Mining Engineer for Cowal Operations. You will shape mine designs, schedules and technical solutions to support safe, efficient production while growing expertise across multiple underground disciplines.

Joining an 8:6 roster on a residential or DIDO arrangement, you will work with a collaborative technical team and report to the Senior Mining Engineer (Underground). A strong safety mindset and values alignment are essential.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• Underground mining experience (2–5 years preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mine designs and schedules for safe, productive underground mining.
• Collaborate with operations and technical teams to improve performance and meet production targets.
• Identify risks early and implement effective controls in design and planning.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across mine planning, drill and blast, ventilation, pastefill and underground operations.
