Job summary

BHP is offering entry-level Underground Miner roles at Olympic Dam in South Australia. Training and development are provided; no prior mining experience is required. Successful candidates will operate safely in underground environments, adapt to shift work, and join a strong, safety-focused team. A manual driving license is required before joining.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years' work experience in any industry.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a manual vehicle prior to joining BHP

Responsibilities

• Operate large mining equipment, including trucks and integrated tool carriers (ITs).
• Install and maintain critical underground infrastructure.
• Work alongside drills and other heavy mining equipment.
• Operate safely in dynamic underground environments, including working at heights.
• Support production and underground mining activities.
• Follow a 7/7 roster with rotating 12-hour shifts at Olympic Dam.
