Job summary

Anglo American plc - Middlemount, QLD is seeking a Maintenance Technician: Mechanical to perform hands-on mechanical maintenance on underground mining equipment, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and statutory requirements.

You will contribute to safe, reliable operations and production targets by delivering high-quality maintenance tasks within a 7 on, 7 off roster, with DIDO or FIFO options and subsidised accommodation.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering: Mechanical or equivalent.
• Current Standard 11 (Surface & Underground).
• Proven mechanical maintenance experience within an underground coal mine.
• Experience delivering best practice mechanical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate to ensure all work is completed in full compliance with safety standards and statutory requirements.
• Perform mechanical maintenance on a wide range of underground mining equipment to support safe and reliable operations.
• Contribute to achieving production targets by delivering high-quality maintenance tasks and promoting a strong, safety-focused team environment.
