Job summary

Komatsu Mining Corp. is offering a permanent onsite opportunity for a qualified mechanical tradesperson based in Rutherford, NSW. You will perform maintenance, repairs, overhauls and rebuilds on development and longwall underground mining equipment, reading technical drawings and applying strong fault-finding skills.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out overhauls and rebuilds on development and/or longwall equipment.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine commitment to safety and quality.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within required timeframes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, overhauls and rebuilds on underground mining equipment.
• Work alongside an experienced team, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately and to a high standard.
