Anglo American Steelmaking Coal in Queensland seeks an Underground Longwall Mining Engineer to shape planning and provide expert technical advice for scheduling and performance in Bowen Basin. You will work with the Technical Service Superintendent to resolve challenges and align plans with safety and business goals.
Key requirements include degree in Mining Engineering with extensive underground coal experience and proficiency with mine planning tools.
Formación
- Degree in Mining Engineering (or equivalent) and registered status.
- Extensive underground coal mining experience.
- Strong knowledge of coal mining processes and safety regulations.
- Experience with mine planning tools.
Responsabilidades
- Provide technical advice to optimise scheduling and performance.
- Collaborate with the Technical Service Superintendent and site teams.
- Develop and implement safe, compliant underground plans.
- Support environmental controls and safety systems.
