Macmahon is looking for an experienced Longhole Driller to operate in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. The role involves safely operating drilling rigs to meet production targets within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience in underground Longhole drilling with a focus on upholes.
• Solid understanding of Longhole stoping methods and production drilling principles.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mine design plans.

Responsibilities

• Safe, efficient operation of drilling rigs.
• Maintain and build haul roads in active mining areas.
• Complete pre-starts and report hazards or defects immediately.

Certificate III or IV in Underground Metalliferous Mining
