Victory Minerals is seeking an Underground Loader Operator for its Ballarat mine. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will operate R1700/Sandvik LH514 loaders mainly for CRF filling, with bogging and servicing tasks as required.

Live locally in Ballarat on a 7/7 roster, with residential mine amenities and supportive team culture. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and collaboration in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-start inspections of mobile equipment.
• Safe operation of CAT R1700 and Sandvik LH514 loaders.
• Carry out CRF filling operations.
• Perform stope and development bogging.
• Complete shift paperwork including pre-starts and plod card.
• Report equipment damage promptly per Victory Minerals procedures.

Underground Loader Operator - Bogging CRF

The Role:

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, your key responsibility will be the safe and productive operation of R1700/Sandvik 514 loaders primarily for CRF filling but also stope/development bogging and installation of services/other work as required.

Roster:

Key responsibilities:

• Conducting pre-start inspections of mobile equipment
• Inspecting work area to identify any potential hazards
• Safe operation of CAT R1700 and Sandvik LH514 loaders
• CRF filling operations
• Stope and development bogging
• Operating mobile equipment including haul truck and loader efficiently and in a safe manner
• Completion of all shift paperwork including pre-starts, shift plod card and step backs
• Reporting any equipment damage immediately and in accordance with Victory Minerals requirements

About you:

Previous experience in an underground mine environment with proven capability to efficiently perform a range of underground mine activities including bogging; experience with CRF advantageous

High standard of safe behaviour with a strong team focus, work ethic and a capacity for handling multiple tasks in a dynamic production environment;

Effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with minimal direct supervision in a small team environment;

Commitment to a respectful and cooperative work environment in line with Victory Minerals policies and company expectations.
