Job summary

Barminco is seeking a Jumbo Operator to support underground mining across Australia, with opportunities at Western Australian sites. You will operate underground jumbo drills, drill headings, and install ground support in line with mine plans and safety standards.

You will conduct pre-start checks, maintain equipment, and work with supervisors to meet development schedules. FIFO/DIDO options and training opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience operating underground jumbo drills and reading drill plans.
• Experience in underground mining environments.
• All relevant qualifications, certificates and licences (RPLs) required.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground jumbo drill to drill headings and install ground support.
• Read drill plans, mark-ups and ground support requirements.
• Install ground support (bolts, mesh, etc.) as required.
