Job summary

Mitchell Services is expanding its Underground Energy Division and seeking experienced Underground In-Seam Gas Drillers to join our high-performing crews on a 7 days on / 7 days off roster. FIFO from an agreed point of hire or DIDO within an acceptable distance.

You’ll follow SWIs and procedures to complete drilling programs safely, conduct pre-start checks, report hazards, record breakages and communicate with your supervisor.

Qualifications

• Open Car Manual Licence (C-Class) – essential.
• Ability to obtain current First Aid and CPR.
• Current Underground Standard 11 – desirable.
• Previous demonstrated experience as an Underground In-Seam Gas Driller – essential.
• Physically fit and able to pass a functional assessment.

Responsibilities

• Follow SWIs & procedures to complete drilling programs safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-start checks and report hazards, incidents, and near misses.
• Record breakages, maintenance needs, and potential issues.
• Communicate effectively with your supervisor and crew.
