Job summary

Mitchell Services is expanding its Underground Energy Division and seeking experienced Underground Mineworkers to join our crews across the Bowen Basin. We offer a 7/7 even-time roster with FIFO or DIDO options, full-time roles with stable wages, and support for training and career development.

Qualifications

• Open (C Class) Manual Driver’s Licence – essential.
• Underground Standard 11 & First Aid/CPR – desirable.
• Previous demonstrated experience in underground coal mining or Underground In-Seam drilling experience.
• Strong communication, teamwork & safety mindset.
• Physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Carry out drilling work in line with SWIs & site procedures.
• Perform thorough prestart checks & report maintenance needs.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors & team members.
• Record hazards, incidents & near misses promptly.
• Maintain high safety & performance standards.
