Job summary

Westfill Pty Ltd in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Underground Drill Fitter to join our maintenance team on a FIFO roster. You will service, troubleshoot and repair underground drill rigs, diagnose hydraulic, mechanical and electrical faults, and perform preventative maintenance to keep rigs on line.

You will mentor apprentices and tradespeople, ensure safety compliance, and maintain accurate service records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in underground drilling maintenance.
• Experience with Sandvik equipment (DD421, DL421, DL431, DD422i).
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and mentoring to apprentices and tradespeople as required.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in underground drilling maintenance.
• Equipment Knowledge: Experience with Sandvik (DD421, DL421, DL431, DD422i)
• Technical Skills: Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic abilities.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, teamwork, and adaptability to remote environments.
