Evolution Mining is seeking a safety-focused UG Development - Logistics/Serviceperson to join the Northparkes operation. You will support underground development by ensuring crews have explosives, consumables and materials, while operating service trucks and maintaining compliance with site procedures.

The role includes pre-start checks, stock management and data recording, with a 7/7 roster. Relocation to Parkes and a strong commitment to safety are welcome.

Qualifications

• Must have HR Australian Driver Licence (Class HR).
• Working at heights certification or ability to obtain.
• Security clearance to handle explosives or ability to obtain.
• Strong commitment to safety as a way of work.
• Well developed literacy and numeracy skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Parkes.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate underground service trucks and support equipment.
• Transport explosives, emulsion and blasting accessories per procedures.
• Deliver ground support consumables to active work areas.

What's the opportunity?

We're seeking a safety-focused UG Development - Logistics/Serviceperson to join our Underground team at Northparkes.

You will play a critical role in supporting underground development activities by ensuring crews have the materials, consumables and explosives required to safely and efficiently complete their work.

Operating specialised underground service trucks and support equipment, you'll be responsible for the transport and delivery of explosives, ground support products, mining consumables and other essential materials across the underground operation. Working closely with development crews, you'll help maintain productivity while ensuring all activities are completed safely and in line with site procedures and legislative requirements.

This role is on a 7/7 roster

Based at our Northparkes Operation, you'll:

• Safely operating underground service trucks and support equipment.
• Transporting and delivering explosives, emulsion and blasting accessories in accordance with site procedures and legislative requirements.
• Delivering ground support consumables including bolts, mesh, resin and other development materials to active work areas.
• Supporting underground logistics and materials movement activities to ensure development schedules are achieved.
• Conducting pre-start inspections and basic equipment checks.
• Maintaining accurate records relating to explosives and materials handling.
• Assisting with stock management and materials distribution underground.
