ABM Contractors is seeking experienced Underground Coal Operators with secondary support and ventilation experience for long-term work in Queensland. The role offers $72/hr, permanent full-time employment and a 7/7 roster with 12-hour shifts.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated capability in secondary support and underground ventilation works, Current Standard 11, relevant coal mine competencies and a Health Scheme medical assessment or the ability to obtain one.

We're lookingfor capable, safety-focused operators with proven experience in both secondarysupport and ventilation works who can contribute to a reliable and productiveunderground crew.

Skills &Experience

• Demonstrated secondary support and/orventilation experience in an underground black coal mine
• Experience installing secondary strata-supportsystems and undertaking underground ventilation works
• Current Standard 11 – Underground and Surface
• Current underground coal competencies relevant tothe position
• Current Coal Mine Workers' Health Scheme medicalassessment, or ability to obtain one
• Ability to complete drug and alcohol screeningwithin 14 days prior to induction
• Availability to work rotating 12-hour day and nightshifts
