Job summary

Fitzroy Mining Operations invites experienced Bord and Pillar underground operators to join our Bowen Basin site near Moranbah. You will crew with our BP underground team in a safe, production‑driven environment.

The role offers an even‑time roster (7 on, 7 off), DIDO or FIFO with camp accommodation, and fortnightly pay with additional housing allowances. Hold current Standard 11 and a valid drivers licence to apply.

Underground Coal Mine Operators - Bord and Pillar

Carborough Downs underground Bord and Pillar mine is located in Queensland’s Bowen Basin, approximately 30km north-east of Moranbah and 160km from Mackay and forms part of the broader Argo Complex. This integrated mining complex includes the Ironbark Longwall Mine and Broadlea Open Cut, as well as a centralised Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP), where collaboration between our sites and teams is key to delivering safe and efficient outcomes.
