Job summary

BMD Group in Victoria is seeking Undergraduate Engineers (Civil & Electrical) to join the Healesville Sewage Treatment Plant Upgrade project. You should have 1–2 years remaining in your degree or be graduating in 2028 to gain hands-on experience while studying.

Reporting to experienced project professionals, you will contribute to planning, site support, document reviews, and progress monitoring as you develop technical and leadership skills on critical water infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
• Approximately 1-2 years remaining before graduation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, coordination and delivery activities
• Support site-based construction and engineering teams
• Prepare and review quality documentation, inspections and reports
• Monitor project progress, costs, productivity and subcontractor performance

About the Role

We’re looking for motivated Undergraduate Engineers (Civil & Electrical) to join our team on the Healesville Sewage Treatment Plant Upgrade project in Victoria. This is an excellent opportunity for engineering students who have 1-2 years remaining in their degree or are expected to graduate in 2028, and are looking to gain practical, hands‑on experience while continuing their studies.

Working alongside experienced project professionals, you'll be exposed to the delivery of critical water infrastructure and develop the technical, commercial, and leadership skills needed for a successful engineering career.

About the Project

The Healesville Sewer Treatment Plant Upgrade is a significant infrastructure project that will enhance essential water services for the community while supporting sustainable growth across the region.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to experienced Project and Site Engineers, you'll have the opportunity to:
