Job summary

BMD is seeking motivated Undergraduate Engineers (Civil & Electrical) to join the Healesville Sewage Treatment Plant Upgrade project in Victoria. You’ll gain hands-on experience while completing your degree, with exposure to major infrastructure delivery and mentoring from experienced engineers.

Ideal candidates are in the penultimate year of study in Civil or Electrical Engineering, with strong communication and teamwork skills, and a proactive approach. Valid driver's licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
• Penultimate year or second-last year with about 1-2 years remaining.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and initiative.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing project team.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Valid driver’s licence (preferred).

• Assist with project planning, coordination and delivery activities
• Support site-based construction and engineering teams
• Prepare and review quality documentation, inspections and reports
• Monitor project progress, costs, productivity and subcontractor performance

About the Role

We’re looking for motivated Undergraduate Engineers (Civil & Electrical) to join our team on the Healesville Sewage Treatment Plant Upgrade project in Victoria. This is an excellent opportunity for engineering students who have 1-2 years remaining in their degree or are expected to graduate in 2028, and are looking to gain practical, hands-on experience while continuing their studies.

Working alongside experienced project professionals, you'll be exposed to the delivery of critical water infrastructure and develop the technical, commercial, and leadership skills needed for a successful engineering career.

About the Project

The Healesville Sewer Treatment Plant Upgrade is a significant infrastructure project that will enhance essential water services for the community while supporting sustainable growth across the region.

What You’ll Be Doing
