Job summary

seek.com.au is seeking an enthusiastic and fast-learning candidate to join our Melbourne production team in a 2-pak kitchen painting business. This hands-on role involves preparing and finishing panels in a fast-paced environment.

Duties include sanding undercoated and timber panels, applying mask and peel to backs of panels, assisting with loading/unloading deliveries, and other duties as required. The successful candidate will have attention to detail and good teamwork.

Qualifications

• Have a good eye for detail, a strong work ethic and pride in producing a high-quality finished product
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Need to be reliable, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Attention to detail in all aspects of preparation, equipment cleaning and maintenance
• Hands-on role suited to someone who is reliable, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to build relationships quickly and effectively
• Have strong communication skills
• Ability to use own level of initiative
• Managing workload and meeting set targets
