Job summary

Contour Education is seeking tutors to join a high-energy team in Melbourne. You will lead small group classes (8–20 students) using our premium materials to help students understand content, build confidence, and succeed.

You’ll teach, coach, and mentor students, forming genuine connections while inspiring them to stay motivated and perform at their best. Commitments include 1 academic year and 10+ hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Completion of VCE/QCE/SACE/WACE with excellent scores in relevant subjects.
• Demonstrated communication and mentoring abilities.
• Commitment to a full academic year and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Teach small groups (8–20 students) using provided resources.

• Teach– You’ll teach a group of students content, application, and help them through difficult questions.


• Coach– Motivate students to engage with content and questions.


• Mentor– Be a mentor for students, telling anecdotal stories of success & failure.


• Connect– Build genuine connections with students. You're relatable, making it easy to relate and inspire.

What You Will Bring

• VCE/QCE/SACE/WACE Completion with 99+ATAR and 45+ for VCE, 95+ for QCE and WACE, A or above for SACE raw study scores in relevant subjects.


• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts
