Job summary

Compas Pty Ltd in Canberra is seeking a Security Specialist - Vulnerability Assessment to support vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, threat analysis and security investigations across complex ICT systems. You will work in a highly secure environment, applying hands-on testing and incident analysis to identify risks and remediation actions.

The role requires TSPV or TSPA clearance, Australian citizenship, and onsite work.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting compliance monitoring or security controls testing.
• Exposure to vulnerability assessment and basic penetration testing using commercial security tools.
• Understanding intrusion detection, anomalous activity and security event analysis.
• Knowledge in threat intelligence, threat assessment or threat modelling.

Security Specialist - Vulnerability Assessment | TSPV/PA Cleared

These roles are ideal for developing cyber security professionals with hands‑on exposure to security testing, intrusion analysis and threat intelligence who are ready to build deeper capability in a highly secure environment.

Location: ACT
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Contract Duration: Initial 12-month contract, with 2 x 12-month extension options
Security Clearance Requirement: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates are required to have a TSPV or TSPA clearance to perform this role.
