Job summary
The Brown and Hurley Group in Roma is seeking skilled heavy vehicle mechanics to join a leading Australian dealer network. You will diagnose faults, perform service, maintenance, repairs and rebuilds on Kenworth and DAF trucks, and participate in on-call breakdowns.
You’ll work in a team with peers and apprentices, receive ongoing training and opportunities for career advancement through our Future Leaders Program, and access generous relocation support and modern facilities.
Qualifications
- Heavy vehicle mechanic qualification or equivalent
- Ability to work safely and communicate effectively
- Experience or training relevant to Kenworth/DAF trucks may be beneficial
Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults on heavy vehicles and equipment
- Carry out service, maintenance, repair and rebuild work
- Check quality of work to manufacturers’ standards
- Assist training of apprentices and other workshop personnel
- Complete job cards accurately
- Participate in on-call roster and offsite breakdowns
- Provide professional customer service
