Affordable Truck School in Brisbane is seeking a dedicated Truck Instructor to deliver practical training for heavy vehicle licensing. Based at Deagon, you will guide students to become safe, confident drivers.

You’ll assess progress, ensure compliance with regulations, and work with the training team. A valid heavy vehicle license and appropriate endorsements are required; HR/HC/MC preferred. Willing to complete Cert IV.

Qualifications

• Experience training heavy vehicles and license acquisition.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to students.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Affordable Truck School as a Truck Instructor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality training and instruction to individuals seeking to obtain their heavy vehicle driver's licenses. Based in Deagon sites, you will play a crucial part in equipping our students with the knowledge and skills needed to become safe and confident truck drivers. Seeking MR to MC truck holders.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering comprehensive practical training on the safe operation of heavy vehicles
• Assessing students' progress and providing constructive feedback to help them improve their driving abilities
• Ensuring that all training sessions adhere to relevant industry regulations and safety standards
• Collaborating with the wider training team to continuously improve the quality of our programs

What we're looking for

• a professional heavy vehicle driver, with a proven track record of safe and responsible operation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively explain complex concepts to students
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in challenging situations
• A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping others achieve their goals
• A valid Truck driver's license, including the appropriate endorsements for the vehicles you will be training on. HR or HC or MC.
• Willing to complete the TLI41222 Cert IV if have not already.
