Job summary

SCT Logistics is seeking a capable warehouse and transport operative in Western Australia. The role focuses on operating HC truck licence vehicles, handling freight, and ensuring accurate storage and picking within our intermodal network.

You will monitor refrigeration units, use scanners, perform prestart checks, and maintain safety standards across warehouse and transport operations to support timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of warehouse and transport industries
• HC License required
• Experience in cross-dock warehouse environments
• Experience in freight scanning environments
• Use of scanning equipment
• Stocking of freight
• Packing and labelling of items for shipping
• Loading and unloading with forklift
• Prestart checks – Vehicle 360 checks, HME maintenance, tyre pressures, cleanliness of HME
• Safety compliance

Responsibilities

• Operate HC trucks and monitor TC refrigeration units
• Apply load restraint to freight loads
• Manual handling and stickering freight
• Inspect equipment for wear and damage
• Store goods in correct locations for easy order picking
• Transport goods to warehouse areas and shipping terminals
• Monitor equipment visually and via gauges/instruments and computerized systems

• Ensure compliance with all of SCT’s WHS policies, procedures and applicable state and federal legislation
• Running maneuvering, navigating, or driving HC Truck Licence Vehicles
• Able to monitor and control TC refrigeration units
• Ability to usetechnology and scanners
