Job summary

Metcash Trading Limited is seeking a reliable Truck Driver for the K & B Timber & Hardware Edinburgh Frame & Truss team servicing the Adelaide metro region. This full-time role is 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.

Our team is growing at K&B Timber & Hardware, and we're currently looking for a reliable Truck Driver to join our Edinburgh Frame & Truss team, servicing the Adelaide metro region. This is a full-time role working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work.

You’ll be responsible for providing excellent customer service and will thrive working independently in an unsupervised environment. To be successful in this role, you’ll need a current HR or MR Truck Licence, a Dogging Ticket and a Vehicle Crane Ticket.

What you will be doing

• Delivery goods to our customers in the metro Adelaide region (occasional hand unloads)
• Ensuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers and contractors
• Provide accurate deliveries on time, with a high focus on customer service
• Be relied upon to represent the company in a professional manner

What you will bring

• Hold a valid car license
• Hold a current HR/MR Truck License – essential
• Hold a Dogging ticket & Vehicle Crane ticket – essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be physically fit (some heavy liftings require)
• Able to deliver to building sites in surrounding areas
