Bentley Quarry is seeking a Truck & Dog Driver for full-time work based in Bentley, NSW. You will operate tipper trucks and dog combinations, delivering quarry products to local customers and maintaining safe loading practices.

The ideal candidate holds a valid HC licence with a clean record, has 5+ years of road transport experience, and demonstrates strong load securing and professional communication. You will work independently, while ensuring safety and compliance at all times.

Job description

Bentley Quarry is seeking a skilled and experienced Truck & Dog Driver to join our transport operations team. This is a full-time position based in Bentley, NSW 2480. As a Truck & Dog Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining tipper & truck & dog combinations, transporting quarry products and materials to customers across local routes. This role is essential to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods whilst maintaining the highest standards of road safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

Operate truck and dog safely and efficiently in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies

Transport quarry products, aggregates and other materials to designated customers and distribution points

Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure the truck and trailer are in safe working condition

Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues or defects promptly

Ensure loads are safely secured and distributed according to weight and legal requirements

Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers and other team members

Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle interior and exterior

Comply with all site safety protocols when loading, unloading and at delivery locations

Contribute to a safety-first culture and report any hazards or incidents immediately

What we're looking for

Valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence with a clean driving record

Minimum 5 years' experience driving truck and dog combinations in road transport

Strong understanding of load securing requirements and weight distribution principles

Professional communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple routes

Physical fitness to perform manual tasks associated with the role

A commitment to safety and compliance with all regulatory requirements
