Job summary

Advance Tree Works in Hervey Bay, Queensland, is seeking Arborists to join our team. Multiple positions are available for experienced climbers to provide pruning, removals, and vegetation maintenance across a range of sites.

You will lead a small crew, operate equipment, and adhere to safety and environmental guidelines. A White Card is mandatory; MR/HR licences and other tickets are desirable. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience as an Arborist.
• Climbing experience desirable.
• EWP ticket desirable.
• Loader/Bobcat/Excavator/Skid Steer ticket desirable.
• Chainsaw ticket desirable.
• Proficiency with tree care equipment and machinery.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Commitment to safety and environmental sustainability.

Certified Climbers

As an Arborist, you will be responsible for the care and maintenance of trees and other vegetation, ensuring the safety and well-being of the local community.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and manage a team of 3-4 individuals ensuring safety and operational excellence
• Operating specialized equipment and machinery safely and effectively
• Execute Arboriculture services such as tree pruning, removals and vegetation maintenance with precision and care
• Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and environmental guidelines
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience as an Arborist

• Ewp ticket (desirable)
• Loader/Bobcat/Excavator/Skid Steer ticket (desirable)
• Chainsaw ticket (desirable)
• Proficiency in the use of tree care equipment and machinery

• Commitment to safety and environmental sustainability
• MR/HR truck licence or willing to obtain one
