Job summary

This full-time arboriculture role is ideal for qualified Arborists and motivated Apprentice Arborists looking to build a long-term career with a supportive team using modern equipment and industry-leading safety practices. You will work on a diverse range of residential, commercial, infrastructure and emergency response projects across New South Wales.

Carry out tree removal, pruning and maintenance, undertake crane-assisted removals, and operate EWPs with licences where required.

Qualifications

• CertificateIII in Arboriculture (or equivalent)
• Apprentice applicants must demonstrate a strong willingness to learn
• Previous tree climbing experience is highly regarded
• MR or HR Driver Licence is advantageous
• EWP Licence or Ticket is desirable
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors
• Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Committed to developing a long-term career in arboriculture

Responsibilities

• Carry out tree removal operations
• Perform tree pruning and maintenance
• Undertake crane-assisted tree removals
• Operate Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) where licensed
• Complete commercial vegetation management works
• Respond to emergency storm damage call-outs
• Work safely using modern climbing equipment and machinery
• Maintain high standards of workplace health and safety
• Work across residential, commercial and infrastructure projects
• Collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Assist with equipment maintenance and site preparation
• Deliver professional and high-quality arboricultural services
