Job summary

PowerClear is seeking a reliable Tree Planter for outdoor, hands-on planting across Gold Coast and South East Queensland. You will work with the field team performing planting, soil prep, staking, mulching and routine maintenance.

Ideal candidates enjoy physical outdoor work, are reliable and safety-minded, and can work well with others. Training and development opportunities exist within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in tree planting, landscaping, horticulture, arboriculture or vegetation management is highly regarded.
• Current Australian Driver Licence and White Card preferred.
• Willing to learn and follow site instructions.
• Training provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Plant trees, shrubs and other vegetation.
• Prepare planting areas and soil.
• Install stakes, ties and guards.
• Mulching and watering newly planted trees.
• Load, unload and handle plants and materials.
• General landscaping and vegetation maintenance.
• Operate hand tools and small equipment where trained.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow WHS requirements.
• Work with crew to complete projects safely and efficiently.

PowerClear | Gold Coast / South East Queensland

PowerClear is seeking a reliable and motivated Tree Planter to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on outdoor role involving tree planting and associated landscaping and vegetation works across a variety of projects throughout the Gold Coast and South East Queensland.

About the Role

As a Tree Planter, you will work as part of our field team undertaking tree planting and establishment works. Duties may include:

• Planting trees, shrubs and other vegetation
• Preparing planting areas, including digging and soil preparation
• Installing stakes, ties, guards and other tree protection
• Mulching and watering newly planted trees
• Loading, unloading and handling plants and materials
• General landscaping and vegetation maintenance
• Operating hand tools and small plant/equipment where appropriately trained
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Following site-specific environmental and WHS requirements
• Working alongside other crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently

About You

• Enjoys working outdoors and undertaking physically active work
• Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
• Is comfortable working in varying weather conditions
• Can work effectively as part of a team
• Takes pride in completing work to a high standard
• Understands the importance of workplace health and safety
• Is willing to learn and follow instructions

Previous experience in tree planting, landscaping, horticulture, arboriculture or vegetation management would be highly regarded; however, training can be provided to the right candidate.

Requirements

Applicants should ideally hold:

• Current Australian Driver Licence
• White Card
• Construction or landscaping experience (desirable)
• Relevant horticulture/arboriculture qualifications (desirable)
• Experience using landscaping or vegetation management equipment (desirable)
