Job summary

Snowy Hydro Limited in Sydney is seeking an analytical and proactive Treasury Analyst to join the Treasury team. You will support daily liquidity management, prudential operations, stakeholder reporting, and financial risk analysis to inform senior leadership decisions.

Based in Sydney with a hybrid model (office 3 days per week), the role offers exposure to treasury operations, banking partner interactions, and continuous improvement of the Treasury Management System, with clear career

Qualifications

2–5+ years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, accounting or auditing.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day treasury operations and liquidity management; monitor bank balances and fund availability; coordinate transfers and short-term investments.
Partner with Accounts Payable and finance to track commitments and optimise working capital.
Monitor daily prudential requirements for NEM and gas markets, with timely reporting and risk mitigation.
Prepare weekly/monthly journals and balance sheet reconciliations; produce treasury reporting for leadership.
Support quantitative analysis on interest rate hedging, FX exposure and commodity risk.
Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of the Treasury Management System.
