Job summary

Sharp & Carter is partnering with an established multinational client in North Sydney to recruit a Treasury Analyst. You will help manage daily cash positions, produce forecasts, and provide reporting to support liquidity decisions.

This temp-to-perm role offers exposure to multiple business units and hands-on treasury operations. Ideal candidates will have treasury or cash management experience, strong Excel skills, and precise, data-driven thinking.

Qualifications

• Experience in treasury, cash management or a finance role involving cash flow forecasting.
• Strong analytical skills with confidence handling financial data.
• Excellent Excel skills and high accuracy.
• Clear communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily and monthly cash flow forecasts to support liquidity planning.
• Consolidate cash flow information across business units (receipts, payments, capex).
• Monitor bank balances and analyse cash movements vs forecasts.
• Identify cash requirements and advise on transfers between accounts.
• Coordinate intercompany cash transfers and supporting documentation.
• Support treasury settlements and confirmations; ensure accurate recording.
• Prepare cash reporting and analysis to inform funding decisions.
• Maintain treasury accounting records and assist broader finance activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve cash reporting processes.
