Job summary

Genus Infrastructure Pty Ltd (GNI) is looking for a Services Electrician to deliver safe, high-quality electrical installation, maintenance, testing, commissioning and fault-finding across mining, industrial, infrastructure and utilities projects.

The role involves working on local and remote projects, supporting new installations, brownfield upgrades and shutdowns while upholding the highest safety and workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current A Grade Electrical Licence.
• Electrical Trade Qualification required.
• White Card and Driver's Licence are essential.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• National Police Clearance preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel to local and remote projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment across mining, industrial, infrastructure and utilities projects.
• Install cable containment systems (ladder, tray, conduit) and underground reticulation.
• Terminate HV/LV/ELV cabling and associated field equipment.
• Install, commission and energise switchboards, MCCs and related infrastructure.
• Perform testing, fault-finding, commissioning and shutdown activities.
• Read drawings and technical documentation to execute site works safely and efficiently.
