Job summary

Feros Care is seeking a Support Worker to travel across Ballina/Byron and surrounding areas, delivering person-centred support in clients' homes. You will provide personal care, meals and mobility assistance, along with light domestic tasks to help clients live independently.

Requires a valid driver's license, willingness to travel up to 45–60 minutes, and a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent with First Aid. Police check and vaccination status may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and insured vehicle.
• Willingness to travel 45-60 minutes across local community.
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent with transcripts, plus current First Aid Certificate.
• Australian working rights and ability to complete a National Police Check.
• COVID-19 vaccinations (highly desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, meal preparation, mobility support and everyday assistance to support wellbeing, dignity and independence.
• Complete domestic assistance: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, laundry, changing bed linen, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms.
• Travel using own vehicle to support clients in homes across Ballina/Byron region; perform 2-3 domestic cleans daily.
