Job summary

ARRCS is sourcing Medical/Surgical and General Ward Registered Nurses to support facilities across the Northern Territory, including Darwin, Palmerston, Katherine and Alice Springs. These flexible contracts offer up to AU$100/hour plus penalties, with travel and accommodation provided.

Roles cover Med/Surg and General Ward settings, delivering high-quality care and working in diverse clinical environments across metropolitan, regional, and remote locations.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration (RN Division 1)
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care within acute medical/surgical and general ward environments
• Assess, monitor and evaluate patients with acute and chronic conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapies and treatments as required
• Recognise and respond to changes in patient condition and escalate when appropriate
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver best-practice patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to facility protocols

About the role

We are seeking experienced Medical/Surgical and General Ward Registered Nurses to support healthcare facilities across the Northern Territory. ARRCS are currently sourcing a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to support the team and residents at Terrace Gardens Aged Care Facility on a permanent, part-time basis working 25+ hours per week. This role involves night shifts and a penalty driven rate of $51.26 - $53.84 / hour gross base (dependent of skills and experience) – plus salary packaging options. Visa Sponsorship is NOT available with this role.

Skills and experience

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification.
• Full rights to work in Australia.
• Ability to liaise with a care team and to provide coordinated care.
• Knowledge of contemporary nursing practice.
• Demonstrated understanding of resident centred and residential based care services delivery.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary and multi-cultural care team in a range of settings.
• Experienced in effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate computer skills.
