Travel Trade Recruitment in Sydney is seeking a creative Product Manager to develop and launch unique domestic and international tours, from concept through to delivery.

You'll research destinations, write itineraries, cost tours, negotiate with suppliers and collaborate with design and marketing to bring new tours to life.

This role offers ownership of the product development process and the chance to work with travel professionals in a respected specialist travel business.

Qualifications

• Experience in tour operations, travel or product.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Experience developing itineraries or travel programs.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A genuine passion for travel and discovering new experiences.
• An interest or background in the performing arts, fine arts, culture, history or humanities would be a huge advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop new tour concepts and ideas.
• Research destinations and unique experiences.
• Create detailed itineraries.
• Negotiate with and contract suppliers.
• Secure hotels, performances and exclusive visits.
• Prepare tour costings and budgets.
• Write engaging brochure and itinerary content.
• Work with design and marketing to launch new tours.
• Provide product briefings to Operations.
• Review customer feedback and continually improve future tours.
